1/2 A fantastic GG&C gathering at Houston & Killellan Shed. We heard inspiring updates from our Co-op Member Pioneer & Funeral Care teams along with a presentation from the RNID providing information and support for everyone who has hearing loss or tinnitus.

2/2 A warm welcome to Nick & William from the new Maryhill Shed—they are already benefiting from the support and camaraderie of the network and being helped by our Sheds. The heart of the day? Our members sharing, supporting & showing why Sheds are such a vital lifeline 👍

SMSA is all set up for tomorrow's Royal British Legion Annual Conference in Banchory. We were invited to exhibit at the event by their National Chairman and National Board of Trustees and this is a much-welcomed opportunity to reach more veterans to encourage them to head to the Shed 👍

It was a packed agenda at the Ayrshire Shed Network meeting and each Shed also shared its own updates – from new projects to growing membership – showing that there’s a lot happening and the spirit of support, friendship and shared purpose is stronger than ever 👍

Ruchazie Men’s Shed is back in action! Supported by Growing21 & a community development student on placement, the group is gearing up to launch podcasts sharing their plans — with regular monthly episodes to follow 👍

During our visit, the Castle Douglas Shedders were working log stores, tortoise runs & Hogwarts models, restored lathes and bike restorations! It’s definitely a case of can-do in Castle Douglas. We also chatted about some exciting plans for the future… so watch this space!

SMSA attended the Fort William Network Meeting along with 18 Shedders from Kinlochleven, Mallaig, Fort Augustus & Fort William. Between the banter, Shedders discussed premises, fundraising, community asset transfer, surplus tools, inter-Shed visits and the impact of Sheds 👍

SMSA visited Banff & Macduff Men's Shed. Their projects inc. planters for Bracoden Primary; sign, banner & outdoor stage for Macduff Primary; a BBQ for Gardenstown Playgroup & painting their railings. They also have a Shed Chef cooking up nutritious food to hungry Shedders 👍

A great day playing Stonehaven Men's Shed's Texas Scramble - 10 men, good banter & great camaraderie 👍 Next year, the Shed is planning to invite other Sheds... so get practicing guys... it's a challenging course of cliffs and gullies just waiting to swallow your balls ⛳🏌️‍♀️
