Significant appointment by Port Adelaide FC - Andy has a proven track record at State and national level. Andy was also instrumental in brining Williamstown to country Victoria for preseason camps, which benefited these communities.

Massive kudos to AFL for its Grand Final pre-match entertainment. Getting Snoop Dogg was worth every dollar. The bar has been set for future years.

If you’re looking to form an AFL premiership team - Dew’s your man. Despite what occurred when he was at the Suns, this is a significant signing for Port Adelaide FC and the start of the Josh Carr era.

People may say “it’s historic, a tradition, a part of our game”, but nowadays most field umpires first bounce a ball in a game at State level. Removing the bounce at a local level has prolonged careers and retained officials. This will now happen at the national level.

An additional pick for the 2026 draft ✅ A proven small forward who can provide cover for both the AFL and SANFL sides ✅ Port Adelaide FC still on track for what will be an interesting start to the Carr era.

Between the “he’s sold his house and living with his best mate, so he must be going” to the 18th hole Mornington Peninsula ambush, the handling of this issue by some media outlets has been absurd - yet this is tame compared to what other players have copped this trade period.

Another shrewd trade by Port Adelaide FC - additional cover for both sides effectively for free. Now it's time to park the trade bus and prepare for season 2026.

A great way to end Port Adelaide AFLWAFL Women's season. Unfortunately a return to finals is not occurring due to a tough fixture and some results not going our way, but this young group will be back better in 2026 thanks to the experience.

#27 signs on to 2027. A significant signing by Port Adelaide AFLW, with the Power boasting the best 1-2 forward line combination in the AFL Women's. Add in a fit Teakle next season and Port will make finals again thanks to a trio of tall goalkicking options.

And yet again, the AFL’s biggest non-Victorian rivalry - the Showdown - gets a secondary Friday night billing. The game will be broadcast on Fox Footy across Australia, not on free-to-air TV.

The start of the Josh Carr era at Port Adelaide FC will see the Power not play a 2025 top-eight side until round 6. Port begins the season with games against North Melbourne, Essendon, West Coast, Richmond and St Kilda. The first 2025 finals encounter is against the Hawks in round 6.

With the hype regarding The Sims, this is very clever by Port Adelaide FC's social media team. The sneaky prison bar drop, reference to Dan Does Footy and Max Gawn's height are on point.
