One of the great by products of being part of the @New_Metrics project is the dialogue and professional conversations you get to have with colleagues from within your school and outside your school. I wonder if they had these sort of conversations back in the 1900's?

In addition, Lisa Scobie and I had a chat with the University of Newcastle last week about their enabling course Newstep. Any student turning 18 can enrol in Newstep (which is only a 6month course) whilst completing their hsc for an ATAR equivalent pathway to uni - for free!
