Well that was dramatic! A Manchester derby again for the men’s FA cup final. What a day presenting our coverage on BBC Manchester from Wembley 🏟️ ⚽️🏆 Boxing commentary Saturday, presenting the footy on Sunday! Retired from competing but life still revolves around sport. Love it!

And an extra thank you to Andy Clarke who was at the finals in a different capacity but joined me on comms. Not only a great opportunity to learn from the best but also shows what a genuinely humble & good guy he is. (Not always the case in this industry) So thank you 🥊 🙌 🎙️

Commentating on the National Championships today. I won the National title in 2015, my Dad in 1979, first father & daughter to win senior ABA titles. It means so much to boxers & their clubs, it’s special. Good luck to all involved, great day of boxing ahead! England Boxing 🥊🏆

In 2017 a mum contacted me about her boxing mad little girl so we took her a ticket to my next fight.

When I was a footy mad 13 yr old after winning the u14s cup final at Edgeley Park. I was at Stockport County from the youths up to the first team, great club. Delighted to see them promoted today, been brilliant all season & it’s great for the fans! ⚽️🏆 Up the Hatters! #scfc
