Mule lambs in for their 40 day weight this week.. on average lambs were 15 kgs doing 300gs/day weight gain, at an average age of 38 days. Not bad going for hill ewes averaging 48kgs going to the ram. Predominantly twin lambs reared off grass. Ewe efficiency at its best.

Straidarren cyclone ewe lamb from the second batch with her Silverhill dam purchased lasted year in Blessington. Last week together before weaning. Ewe has done a super job, lamb weighing 43kgs at 86 days of age. Sire, Dam & Lamb all double 5 stars with Sheep Ireland 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
