The Steve Jobs Quality Razor When building, take pride in carrying the quality all the way through. Would you be proud for your work to be seen from every angle and perspective? If not, keep working.

There's a lot of talk about logs lately, but do you know why we call it a "log"? It's actually pretty interesting! The term originated in the days of sail. Back then, sailors would determine their speed by throwing a literal log overboard, which was tied to a rope.

Agile has NOTHING to do with increasing output (or "velocity"). It has everything to do with building the right thing, however long that takes. Don’t know what "twice the work in half the time" is, but it’s not Agile. Building twice as much garbage in Β½ the time benefits nobody.

Acronyms aren’t efficient communication. They usually obscure information and are often an attempt at inflating social status. FYSA.

I recently learned something mindblowing about the geological history of the Mediterranean Sea, and I just can't get it out of my head. Now I'm going to make it *your* problem too. Sorry. Hang onto your hat. This is wild. 1/

Anyone here to share some best practises how to integrate APIs in #Python (i.e. in a #Django context)? Which HTTP client to use? Deserialize data into objects? How? πŸ€”

Ever wondered how a QR code works? No, me neither but it's low-key fascinating. (Warning, there is some extremely nerdy shit here.πŸ‘‡ )
