As an American, as a Jew, and as a Member of the U.S. Congress, I am profoundly concerned about the rise in antisemitism—verbal, physical and online attacks—in America and across the world. Good people of all nationalities, all faiths, all creeds must stand united against hate.

The recent attacks on the Jewish community are despicable, and they must stop. I condemn this hateful behavior at home and abroad — it’s up to all of us to give hate no safe harbor.

I have reflected & wanted to apologize for posts during the recent Israel/Hamas fighting that suggested Israel is committing “genocide”. It’s not accurate, it’s inflammatory, disrespectful & is being used to justify antisemitism here & abroad. Now is the time to avoid hyperbole.

If you "condemn" antisemitism and quickly shift to "But what about...” and then peddle in falsehoods and false equivalence... you haven’t really condemned antisemitism.
