Red chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) is a large native shrub with attractive fall fruit and foliage. Native throughout GA, it is tolerant of a variety of soil conditions. It suckers a bit when happy so plan accordingly! Beautiful spring flowers make it a good multi-season plant.
