Slowly getting used to my new Preesall, Lancashire surroundings locally despite vismig being my main birding from the house roof. Yesterday 5 Little Terns was apparently quite a decent record only to be followed by 6 today so presumably the same.

Just found an absolutely stonking male Collared Flycatcher at Creachan, a species I've been dreaming of finding for years! This is the first for Barra and the third for the Outer Hebrides.

Training in Glasgow gave me the opportunity to take in the Western Sandpiper at Maidens, Ayrshire on the way home. A new bird for me (but apparently present since November!). #AyrshireBirds RareBirdAlertUK
