Final afternoon in Hoi An. Some packages sent home, final wanderings. Group dinner tonight then overnight train back to Ho Chi Minh. 18hrs!

2nd train trip was longer, noisier, bumpier, dirtier & longer... but we made it! Back in the madness of Ho Chi Minh. Cu Chi tunnels tomorrow

Intense day. Cu Chi tunnels followed by War Remnants Museum. Stories of the guerrilla tactics followed by photos of the American atrocities.

Crossing the boarder to Cambodia today.... 6 hours on a public bus. Not sure when we'll get the internet sorted.

Arrived safely in Phnom Phen yesterday. Bus was smooth, some usd helped grease the wheels. Killing fields & S21 today.

Visit to Killing Fields & S21 was somber & sobering. Met a survivor of the horrors - see photo. Quiet bus back.

Tonight we celebrated Mr McGregor's birthday (14th Jan), Reuben's (15th Jan) and Jed's (3rd Jan). Tasty Choc cake!

Arrived @ project, welcomed by the 30ish kindy students & staff. Plenty of work to do! Accommodation nice, yum first dinner too

Dug 113 holes 4 trees, carried building supplies, tied reinforcing bars together to help make a roof, taught some english. Busy day!

Similar manual tasks today but no school students. We r building sports facilities 2 financially support the new school long term.

After a slow start - delayed bus and terrible roads - we've made it to Siem Reap! 4am start tomorrow to see the sun rise over Angkor Wat

The sunrise over Angkor Wat was worth the early wake up call! Amazing complex, all enjoyed exploring the temples. Final dinner tonight.

Just said goodbye to our wonderful expedition leader Graham. Caught up with some of SBC Ratanakiri - good to share stories. At airport now.

One flight down, one to go. Slowly re-adjusting to western sophistication (and prices!) Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
