£1m goal reached! 💸 How has it grown by £400k in 12 months? With these gains, don't feel safe enough to retire just yet. thesavingninja.com/savings-report…

I posted my £1m in 6 years journey on Reddit and answered some questions. Having an argument with one guy in a comment who says compound interest shouldn't count capital gains, just bank account interest, as gains aren't "interest" 🤦 reddit.com/r/FIREUK/s/8Oh…

2024 reviewed, best and worst year ever. 2024 was 6 times better than the previous 5 years for investment growth. It was also the most difficult year of my life so far. thesavingninja.com/2024-reviewed-…

I've now got ÂŁ45k stoozed on credit cards, all within 6 months!! Will help pay off the mortgage while we sell to avoid the 7.8% rate. Halifax Clarity 0% money transfer card was what allowed me to withdraw this amount of cash this quickly. This amount stoozed will save ÂŁ300 p/m

thesavingninja.com/savings-report… Back to over £1m. Also seems like it was a terrible deal to buy a house 8 years ago, we should have continued renting!

House sale has completed today 🎉🎉 Glad to be rid of it after 8 years. Will now free up some capital and a lot of stress!

Is it better to buy an ETF denominated in GBP and pay the 0.5% stamp duty or buy the USD ETF and pay the 0.02% IBKR FX fee? (I'm looking at VUAG.) I'm leaning toward the USD ETF to not pay stamp duty, what am I missing? #investing #Finance #UK

thesavingninja.com/savings-report… Will early retirement really be that great? Also, are Northerners more friendly than Southerners? 🤔
