THANK YOU GoProvidence for joining the flood of calls to #SaveRIPTA! When will Governor Dan McKee understand the negative impact that bus cuts will have on our state's economy? It's high time we had state leadership calling to GROW RIPTA, not cut it.

Thank you, @iandonnis for amplifying my message. It was the General Assembly, not the Governor, who helped RIPTA. He continually underfunds them, and we are left to sort it out.

Raising fares keeps coming up, so we put together this handy explainer for Governor Dan McKee ‡️ Spoiler: It won’t work and it will likely backfire. pvdstreets.org/7-reasons-rais…

Continue calling Governor Dan McKee Governor Dan McKee’s office at 401-222-2080 and demand full funding for RIPTA! RIPTA’s Board of Directors could meet anytime soon and make a decision regarding proposed service cuts!! Transit is essential. Don’t throw riders under the bus.🚨🚌

It's so wonderful to see big problems getting solved with loud activism and cross-sector collaboration! Next up: RIPTA funding? Route 40 serves Butler Hospital and is one of the lower ridership routes that could be cut. But patients and staff need that bus.

Given the current situation, it’s difficult to imagine why anyone is concerned with the location of the bus hub in Providence. Riders certainly aren’t – their mobility, their jobs, their education access, and their independence is at stake. Thanks to Colleen Cronin:
