Anthony 🏳️‍🌈 So now we have this. Good idea, badly implemented. Huge land lift, No CAC’s, no water, sewer or infrastructure improvements, no increase in school spaces, no contribution to park improvements, no parking requirements. Density for sake of density with little to no thought

We have a lot of work to do in Vancouver to create equitable access to green spaces and resources. Thanks to all those who advocate against injustices and amplify a message of support for marginalized groups, whose voices are frequently overlooked. savebrucefield.com/report

The results are in. 52,428 students for the 2023/24 school year Vancouver School Board. An INCREASE of about 2,200 students since the 2021/22 year. Vancouver School Board's projections for "decrease in future students" is not supported by Ministry data. #VanPACAdvocacy

Today's BC Parent Advisory Council conference & AGM presentation was fantastic! We're growing more confident in supporting parents & caregivers in advocacy. Yet, it's worrying that advocacy for students often falls solely on parents' shoulders. #Parenting #Advocacy #vanpoli

Big thanks to BC NDP, Rachna Singh, and Adrian Dix for funding Vancouver schools! 🙏 Vancouver School Board is making progress too. Vancouver DPAC will keep amplifying parents' voices. 🏫 Don’t miss the Vancouver DPAC annual general meeting on June 20th at 7 PM. Mark your calendars! 📅 #VanSchools

As this school year begins, parents want to know their kids are safe and focused on learning. While we’re banning cell phones in schools so kids can focus in class, John Rustad is trying to ban textbooks on climate change. The choice is stark.
