You can see which of today's Spring Breakout games will be played in Statcast parks here: baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?date=… Many will! Just remember so many of these P are brand new to the system, so if real-time pitch tagging is iffy, know it'll be cleaned up

Minor League Statcast search is complete for AAA/2023, partial AAA/2022, and Statcast-enabled Single-A from 2021-23. It's not 100% of everything, but it is nearly 2 million pitches, and that's a lot. --> baseballsavant.mlb.com/statcast-searc…

(On those pitch types: If you followed live data last summer and found the automated results janky, yes, they were. A ton of work has been put into cleaning them up, thanks @alexfast8. Hit us up or MLBPitchClass with any questions on that.) --> baseballsavant.mlb.com/statcast-searc…

Is it interesting that the Chicago Cubs are dead last in MLB in rate of 4sm/sinker thrown 95MPH+ ... and the Iowa Cubs are *first* in AAA? I think so. --> baseballsavant.mlb.com/statcast-searc…

"Nobody cares how fast you can throw if you can't throw it in the strike zone." -- Everybody who watches baseball Same applies for the bat speed: you really need to know how much you can square up the ball. Which we also provide.
