Tsarathustra It's truly sickening to see our future sold to investors like this. We will live with the consequences of OpenAI's actions and it has literally altered our timeline to a dystopian future.

The real question to address is why does all this need to happen? It's because the cost to society of human displacement is never in the equations of shareholder value gains. Perhaps for each person who is let go, companies should be taxed? To pay the social costs of doing so?

This is the real crux of the argument on AI. It's about those in charge wanting to be more in control. Can't deny the logic, and the creation of the new us vs them paradigm... Human nature is the enemy of Man, AI is just the enabler....

Sobering...it seems if you have nothing unique to offer, you won't have a value prop anymore as a worker....
