Happy to share our preprint on a novel #algorithm for #sound event detection that generalizes better and is faster. It is now a #regression task instead of frame-based #classification. Dave Moffat @bio_computer #AudioSegmentation #SoundEventDetection

It feels great to see that our "You Only Hear Once (YOHO)" algorithm has been evaluated by a workshop paper at NeurIPS Conference. Looks like it has advantages in noisy audio. Thanks to the study by Soham Tiwari et al. neurips.cc/Conferences/20…

Pleased to share that we ranked 5th amongst 33 teams at the DCASE Challenge task 2. It was an amazing experience working with Gordon Wichern, Aswin Subramanian , and Jonathan Le Roux as a research intern at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories . Thanks for this opportunity! dcase.community/challenge2022/…

Hi all. I'm pleased to share our paper accepted to IEEE ICASSP; on real-time low-latency music source separation. Thanks to my co-authors Arthur Benilov, Phil Coleman, @roskit and other colleagues at L-Acoustics for making this research happen! #ICASSP2024

Dear IEEE ICASSP, I am not receiving a response from the ICASSP secretariat for Korean Visa. I have been trying to get a Visa letter and business registration certificate for almost a month (requested by the Korean embassy). But I get a “standard template” response. #ICASSP2024

All set for the show-and-tell demo starting now in hall D2 pitch A! Tomorrow Wed at 1:10 pm, I’m presenting our paper on real-time low-latency demixing in room 101. I look forward to meeting you all! #icassp2024 IEEE ICASSP

Hi all. Today I'll be presenting our paper on low-latency Speech Enhancement and Dereverberation at 2:54 pm in Room MR1.02. IEEE ICASSP ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10887… #icassp2025
