Yesterday afternoon I popped down to Fir Park Stadium in Motherwell to hopefully catch some of the vehicles partaking in a live exercise for new ambulance service students. Fair to say I wasn't disappointed with what I caught. Here are just a couple of my favourites SAS Education - West Region

A difficult Monday for the Service today as we said goodbye to one of our own. Our jobs mean we are back at work today, but want our staff know we are here to support anyone who needs it. We ask the public to #StayAtHome - it is so important to help the #NHS & #SaveLives

Compared to last time, a smaller scale major incident training exercise earlier this week. None the less, Scottish Ambulance VQ students continuing to learn and develop their knowledge and skills.

Due to the major incident in Glasgow today which the Scottish Ambulance Service is currently attending alongside Police Scotland we would please ask people to only call 999 in an emergency. We would also ask people to please stay away from the area.
