We've spent so long creating the tinder box conditions for this 'outbreak' of violence. Demonising Muslims, migrants and asylum seekers has real life (and death) consequences. Mainstream guilt is not concealed by finger pointing at EDL as fringe/rogue elements.

When politicians demonise migrants, the far right listen. When they say refugees should be “sent back to where they came from”, the far right listen. When they complain about asylum seekers staying in hotels, the far right listen. Let’s promote a message of unity instead.

Delighted about my European Research Council (ERC) grant EARTHWORM and particularly the research it enables! The focus will be on combining MR physics, real-time MRI and sensors to embrace rather than stop peristaltic motion during imaging and to investigate the intertwined relation ->

-> between the wall microstructure and the spatio-temporal motion characteristics. First focus areas are the (non-pregnant) uterus and bowel (adenomyosis&IBD). Looking for students, clinical fellows and PostDocs equally excited about peristaltic motion - please get in touch!->
