Hello!! I am so happy to announce that the amazing [email protected] on Mastodon will be joining us this Friday to talk about pretty cool stuff that I care a lot about! This public event is hybrid, so please join us virtually if you aren't here. (Thanks to Dominik Moritz, CMU Data Interaction Group, and CMU Human-Computer Interaction Institute.)

From what I've learned from folks in the #accessibility field, two things are going to happen here: 1. A large number of people are going to be excluded from the platform. 2. Accessibility will never be a priority and never done correctly because it wasn't baked in at the start.
