If Gunn did not want to do a Superman 2 (which I hope he does, and I hope it's not World's Finest just yet). Sam is really the only choice since his Spider-Man Movies are entirely Donner-Coded, and Gunn's Superman shares a similar narrative beliefs as Spidey.
