Sometimes they are by themselves and they made the journey themselves. Sometimes their wife, kids, parents are still in France. Because they send the fittest/most likely to make it and then they try to bring the family over legally.

Plus it’s expensive so they use the money on the strongest. Also it takes many asylum seekers a few years to get across Europe and we are the last stop. Many women just can’t make that journey. It’s physically demanding and incredibly dangerous

Maybe if people like him actually spoke to those that work with or deal with asylum seekers, they might actually learn something. You can still want them to stay in France. But at least hold that view with an informed opinion.
