I rewatched the Palace game and after watching the first half today I have to say just like in Palace game Florian Wirtz gets in really good spaces but our players don’t pass it to him they pass sideways to fullbacks etc. they need to play to him so he can create opportunities.

We haven't got a clue how to balance this attack.

Biggest issue is progression, it's all too slow and ponderous. Some of it is due to player profile, outside of VVD none of our defenders or deep midfielders are elite at ball progression via passing. We have lots of carriers. Lacking pace in wide areas does not help.

On that note, ly all, onto Chelsea, no point dwelling, just need to see improvements and quickly or Slots going to have a crisis on his hands

Konate’s recent performances have been nothing short of a disgrace. If he wants to leave, that’s completely fine & we should wish him well but his contract situation, combined with his current form is unacceptable. He’s a net negative, at this point #LFC

Liverpool lost 58 duels tonight and won just 45. They lost out in the duels to Palace at the weekend, too. That needs to improve.
