A week of disasters in South Asia. IFRC has launched an appeal to support Pakistan Red Crescent to reach 225 000 people affected by flooding. In Afghanistan, IFRC is immediately releasing funds and stocks to support Afghan Red Crescent | افغاني سره میاشت repond to the earthquake in Kunar Province.

Infrastructures were damaged by the earthquake in Afghanistan. This means that access in remote areas is still a challenge. With IFRC support, Afghan Red Crescent teams are working tirelessly to reach people affected. Homa talked to Al Jazeera English about the situation.
