Each day holds the possibility of a miracle. Based on the words by Elizabeth David. And for me, fossils feel like a miracle every single time. Close to the famous Charmouth Beach, I'm so lucky to be able to find them from time to time.

One of my favourite paintings from last year. I'd seen the colour combination on a tv series and wanted to use it in a painting. In the end I used it in three. Sometimes that's all it takes to inspire a host of pictures.

Some of my colour pencil flower drawings - apart from the Iris's which are watercolour. All A2 in size and each took me weeks. I am a fool.

New painted pebbles. Obviously the sun has been having an impact on me! Though not today (just about to get a hot water bottle).

This is the front cover of my 2026 calendar. And the work in progress pics a reminder of how bloody long it took me to paint. Not the fox but those yellow Hollyhocks. A foolishly difficult choice. Hoping they arrive next week!
