The lack of leadership at the executive level of the NFL is no different than any other corporation in America; whether plantation worker or sharecroper the system is devised to keep "the help" in their place. Its amelioration and or subversion has been well documented.

The Rooney rule notwithstanding, the system just is not set up to let blacks lead (reasons are immaterial at this juncture). What is needed is a rule that will give deference to black ownership. This is where black billionaires in the entertainment industry must step up.

Dr. Dre, Beyonce and Jay Z, Magic etc could co-own a team. This team will be able to tap into a rich market of available coaches and executives----not unlike what was once done by the MLB and NCAA with talented untapped black players.

Creating a winning program will eventually lead to the dissemination of black leaders throughout the league. This is not a new strategy it is simply history repeating.

Candidate Trump's behaviour and ideology did not change when he took office----in that respect he was very different than most of his predecessors. There are those that believed that he would become more "presidential" when he took on the role, they were incorrect.

Those same people believe the upcoming election to be a referendum on Trump; in actuality it is a referendum on the collective conscience and intellect of the american people. Its outcome will have global ramifications.

Those that respond to the moral protest "Black Lives Matter" with the phrase 'all lives matters,' embrace the ignorance of what can only be called the 21st century equivalent to the statement "let them all eat cake."

Make no mistake Trump's strategy to get back in the White House is one that has been historically proven to be effective; during Reconstruction fear of black hoards raping and pillaging white communities was very effective in denying black civil liberties including voting rights

Today Trump uses the same message to warn white suburbanites that the black rioting hordes will invade their neighborhoods and take over..and Only he ,Trump, can stop them...this praxis has worked before!
