That’s some good reffing. Ben Thomas was being held granted but you can’t look at a player a launch your leg in that action. Very lucky there wasn’t a better angle or he didn’t make full contract with the head.

News from Bath’s media call. Ryan Davies confirmed that Alfie Barbeary sustained a hamstring injury vs Bristol and is out until December. Plus, Will Butt will captain Bath on Friday night at Gloucester with Ewan Richards and the rest of the England A team not being released.

Seeing this squad and can’t feel like Max Ojomoh is a spare part. Has been the form 12/13 in 2025. Surely deserves a chance vs a Tier 1 side. Dingwall who I rate highly, has had a few chances to grab the 12 shirt and not delivered. Give OJ a shot, he deserves it.

Team News is out for Gloucester in the Cup 🔵 Staddon a key figure in the park ⚫️ James Linegar gets a shot at fly-half ⚪️ Will Butt captains the side Some big losses away with England A will be a tough ask at Kingsholm but they can win.

Ireland team has a few interesting selections. Paddy McCarthy gets a shot in the front row Doris moves to the flanks Prendergast starts at fly-half Hansen at fullback Looking for bit more intensity and electricity from Ireland. Talent and skill there but accuracy key.

Heading to Kingsholm tonight for Gloucester vs Bath in the Cup. Both sides missing some key Cup players due to England A vs Spain, It will be a low scoring affair you would imagine. The weather is well … horrendous.

TRY BATH Austin Emens goes over after some great interplay with Sam Winters. James Linegar slots the extras GLOS 0-7 BATH

Gloucester hit back with a try Josh Hathaway scores in the corner after a lovley pass from Jake Morris Barton converts 7-7.

TRY for BATH Ethan Staddon crashes over for Bath to retake the lead for the visitors. Some good patience and handling in awful conditions eventually told as Staddon found a soft shoulder to score. 7-12

Gloucester once again respond Kealan Freeman-Price picks up a loose ball to crash over and then it all kicks-off. Barton again adds the extras to take the lead for Gloucester. 14-12

HALFTIME GLOUCESTER 19-12 BATH Bath started very well in the opening 20 but a few mistakes and a creaking scrum has allowed Gloucester to rally before the break. After doing some heroic defending, the vistros will be frustrated to conceded that try on the stroke of halftime.

Bath are enjoying lots of the ball but lack that cutting edge and power at the moment with Gloucester holding firm. Promising stuff though.

TRY BATH TYLER OFFAIH Bath get a quick tap from the scrum and after some hefty carries they spread it wide and get the reward. Missed kick but Bath are in this game. 19-14.

FULLTIME GLOUCESTER 19-17 BATH Gloucester hold on for an unconvincing victory. Bath had chances to win today. Their only defensive lapses led to Gloucester tries , the one before the break killer Bath the better side but not clinical enough against a more expirenced side.

New Zealand have been dominant but a tale of two kickers keeping England in the match. Two huge missed kicks to touch from Barrett while Ford’s drop goals papering over cracks for the hosts.

Return of the Mack at the Aviva A hat-trick from Hansen in 30 minutes against the country of his Birth … Ireland still having some poor moments but attack looking much smoother.

Sam Jess (@sam_jess2003) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Much better from Ireland Prendergast was very good as was Crowley off the bench. Mack Hansen adds electricity to the attack that can be a little slow at times. Only main concern is defence around the fringes. Next week will be a test vs SA but much better from the Irish today
