This also arrived today. A prototype copy (although it seems near final production to me) of the upcoming Onoda from Salt&PepperGames designed by Francisco Gradaille which is coming to crowdfunding in November. Cool looking solo game on a very different topic.

All setup and ready to get started with my 1st game of Onoda from Salt&PepperGames designed by Francisco Gradaille Rules are pretty understandable and components are really nice. Should be an interesting experience!

Onoda is successful in his raiding but gains only a single portion of rice. Enough to accomplish the current Mission but he needs more to feed him and his companions. Moves to Tilik and successfully destroys the jetty to accomplish his first mission. Onoda from Salt&PepperGames
Onoda fails a paranoia test after his health dropped below his current Paranoia level by drawing a 2 when my current Paranoia level was at a 3. Instant loss as Onoda loses his mind and spirals into madness. Onoda from Salt&PepperGames Nice little solo game. Very challenging!
As I’m debriefing with myself after this loss I realize sometimes you just have to shut it down and end the round because things are just too dicey! I kept going because I didn’t have enough food but could have just lost Health which I had to spare. Onoda from Salt&PepperGames

Onoda makes it to 1970 and has held his post honorably for 25 years! Ends with 65 Honor Points which is a somewhat ambiguous outcome. Some think he’s a hero others a lunatic. Onoda from Salt&PepperGames This is a very solid game!
