One of my ever-popular Barn Owls. With that white stain, they really pop in a shaded corner of the garden.

A combination of subtle pyrography work and coloured wood stains makes these wooden Owl sculptures come to life.

Bare or burned? Not everyone likes the coloured finish on my sculptures. I can leave them natural with just a clear preservative and oil to bring out the detail of the timber. Let me know in the comments what you would prefer.

Here is a lovely, large Barn Owl ready to go. My large sculptures stand approximately 3ft/90cm in total height. So they are perfect for small to medium-sized gardens.

This was a commissioned piece. A Great Spotted Woodpecker. The additional coloured stains make it easier to identify the individual species of woodpecker.
