Had a solid day going today. Grabbed some stage points and ran competitively all race. Unfortunately lost the brakes late in the race and that ended our day. Big thanks to Joey Gase Motorsports for the solid effort. One of these days one of these races will work out!

Oil pump belt broke and won’t be able to qualify now. Now we just wait and pray we somehow make the race on a provisional. Such a shame we were fast inside the top 10 in practice.

Can’t catch a break. I’ll be suited and ready to go if anyone needs a fresh driver mid race.

The 35 of Andre Castro is starting 29th for today’s race in Chicago. Sage Karam was running up to p6 in practice in the 53 but an oil pump issue stopped us from being able to qualify & ended the day early. Tough day today standing there watching. One of these days soon I’ll leave the track happy. Head up and off to Sonoma.

Well after cutting lawns all morning yesterday then sitting in an airport for a 10 hour delay I finally made it to Sonoma. On track at 4pm est for practice and qualifying.

Qual complete and in the show. Not my best lap but was good enough. Looking forward to getting after it tomorrow with Joey Gase Motorsports!

The problem with this Austin Hill incident is I don’t think he hooked him on purpose this time but it’s the squeezing people and pushing people off the track laps prior that makes the hooking incident look bad. Tough day to be an official.
