How to design binders to any small molecule ligands, flexible or polar? How to turn binders turned to sensors without complicated engineering? We solved these 2 problems with a single method, binder and sensor design through shape complementary pseudocycles.

Pseudocycles are diverse structurally repetitive, pocket-containing de novo proteins. We designed nanomolar binders to diverse ligands, even polar, flexible methotrexate and thyroxine, through identify individual pseudocycle with best SC to ligands to facilitate interface design.
