The work from my MSc with Silvia Restrepo & in collaboration with Sebastian Schornack is finally out. We used an integrative approach to follow Phytophthora betacei along while infecting tree tomato. This was in my back burner during my Ph.D, and it materialized thanks to @epiplantpath š„³
Grateful to be honored with the Alstroemeria Award from UCSD BioSciences šø. This recognition would not have been possible without the incredible support from so many people behind the scenes, thank you for lifting me up along the way! UC San Diego Salk Institute
UC San Diego biologists have created a transformative new way to monitor genes. The game-changing tool known as RUBY is an inexpensive, easy-to-use technology that allows researchers to visualize genetic changes. go.ucsd.edu/4nEJswk #BehindEveryBreakthrough
