Southwark council is consulting on protected cycle lanes and a bus gate at Peckham Rye - should improve bus journey times along a busy corridor and will create a safe protected cycle route north-south linking to Rye Lane and beyond engage.southwark.gov.uk/en-GB/projects…

Great to see TfL getting on with Lambeth Bridge works. Although they need to get the contractors back to make this smooth, as it’s quite frankly embarrassing. Especially when the new road surface next to it is so smooth!

The roadworks for the Honour Lea Ave re-aligned pedestrian and cycle crossing are on site! Work should take about a month, after which work will move to the new mode filter at the junction of Abercrombie Rd & Temple Mills Ln. Exciting stuff happening in the Olympic Park ✨

Lambeth is consulting on the design of two further LTNs in the north of the borough: Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens haveyoursay.lambeth.gov.uk/en-GB/projects… and Walnut Tree Walk haveyoursay.lambeth.gov.uk/en-GB/projects…. both would remove traffic from the route of Cycleway 5. Aim is to launch as trial in October
