Oxford Street has been struggling over many years. The proposal to pedestrianise the street, backed by the majority of Londoners, will help bring it back to life. Creating a destination to shop, eat & socialise - boosting jobs and supporting businesses.

At Selfridges today I announced the results of the Oxford Street consultation. Around seven in 10 Londoners, and many major businesses, back our transformative proposals to regenerate Oxford Street - with two-thirds specifically supporting the idea of pedestrianisation.
