Emotional day for us as we bid farewell to our Chief Executive, Tom Halpin Sacro after 10 years. Unfortunately we can't say our goodbyes in person so from all of us at Sacro; thank you for all you have done and very best wishes for the future. Thank you Tom.

Many vulnerable women will be leaving prison with nothing and nobody to support them. In this current crisis, it's more important that Shine are there for them ... and we are.

Shine are currently preparing liberation packs for women contining essentials they may struggle to get outside. We're supporting them to access benefits, housing and other essential services and preparing them as best we can - for the unfamiliar world they are about to walk into.

The Third Sector Resilience fund has been launched by Firstport for Social Entrepreneurs Social Investment Scotland Corra Foundation to help third sector organisations to stabilise & manage cash flows during COVID-19. For more details please check the information and link below 👇

People need to stop viewing this option through a lens at a time when COVID-19 doesn’t exist. It does, it’s here. It’s killing people, and lots of services are struggling badly. Including prisons & those within them.
