At least 1,236 Bangladeshis were killed by the BSF between 2000 and 2020, it is still on. The impunity enjoyed by the BSF is a key factor for the aggravation of this situation. Bangladesh should lobby UN bodies and States to raise the matter before the UNHRC.

The Evangelical Fellowship of India’s Religious Liberty Commission (EFIRLC) verified 640 incidents of violence and discrimination against Christians in India in 2024,though commission was able to confirm 640 incidents of persecution, a total of 840 cases were actually reported.
