Great work by Anastasia Codirenzi here, a Western's Bone & Joint Institute graduate. Massive study of retrieved hips confirmed what smaller prior studies thought: taper design and head size are critical factors in trunnionosis. Surgeons take note when choosing implants or working up for possible revision.
