A coach sets the tone for his club on the field. But it’s the players are the ones who create the identity for their team by holding one another accountable before issues even gets to the coach. Accountability coming from teammates is often heard much louder than from coaches.

Want a coach to go to war for you? Go to war for yourself. It’s amazing how easy it is to invest in a player who invests in himself. (Focus every rep, makes sacrifices, shows up on time, leads by example, etc.)

CHAMPION CHARACTER: Attitude Work ethic Competitiveness Attention to detail Display these character traits in practice, every day, in every drill; you can’t help but improve. If your work lacks these traits, you’re wasting an opportunity thats about to be taken by someone else.

What others think of you- good or bad- has no bearing on what you think of yourself. What matters is not what others say, but what YOU do. Rankings mean nothing. Articles mean less. Public criticism or praise? Pay either no mind. You control you. Period.
