Unironically this is why the game needs a better ranked system. Game looks like a joke competitively when people are near “master” rank in 1 week. Idc that master rank is where the ranked ladder actually starts people don’t know that.

99% of tournament level players/goers are still casual/hobbyists. There’s really not that many actual professionals who would be willing to make their experience in a game objectively worse for a minor competitive edge. And even then you’d be handicapping yourself in pc events.
