Super glad to share that our paper on calibration-driven learning for approximating scientific processes is featured as part of the Nature Communications Editor's highlights on recent research in AI and ML (nature.com/collections/ce…) #AI4Science @LLNL LLNL Computing

If you work on applying ideas from geometry or topology to help CV & ML -- consider submitting a paper to the 6th edition of the DiffCVML workshop at #CVPR2021! Excited to be a part of this team with Shantanu H. Joshi Radmila Sazdanovic Pavan Turaga More info: diffcvml.org/2021/

Here’s a chance to catch a glimpse of what we’re up to in #AI at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Many thanks to Mechanical Engineering at UW, Kevin Carlberg for the chance to speak.

We are launching a *new track* at #NeurIPS2021, for #datasets & #benchmarks. We hope that this new track will lead to a substantial increase in high-quality #machinelearning datasets and benchmarks, and give authors proper credit for their work! @syeung10 neuripsconf.medium.com/announcing-the…

We observed that coordinate based learning results in effective priors for inverse imaging tasks even in dynamic settings, requiring resolution of spatial-temporal info. Impressive work by our intern Albert Reed over last year with ImagingLyceum_ASU. Thanks for the shoutout Ulugbek S. Kamilov!

Feeling "your work and our work is similar although not exactly sure what our work is"? Drop by @APGASU presence ICLR 2026, and perhaps we can explain. Changhoon Kim Mon May3rd 5pm (all inPST) Jacob Zhiyuan Fang Wed May5th 9am @trgokhale RobustML workshop on Fri May7th 10am/3pm

Our paper on using NERF-like networks for dynamic CT imaging has been accepted to ICCV 2021! Special thanks to the ACs and reviewers for championing it, even though it's a niche topic for vision conferences. ImagingLyceum_ASU.

Laser fusion just took a leap forward. For a fraction of a second, the National Ignition Facility at Lawrence Livermore produced 10 percent as much power as all the sunshine hitting the Earth. nyti.ms/3sq5IOy by Kenneth Chang

Congratulations to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory researchers on reaching this pivotal milestone. This step toward #fusion ignition paves the way for countless new experiments at National Ignition Facility that drive scientific advancement.
