Figure I should post something not related to OpenAI’s hype engine today: There is a hint of fall on the summer breeze and with it, the sense of changes to come.

Writing a post to get more eyeballs by saying something controversial. I will not fight anyone to agree to disagree? 🤣

I’ve unsubscribed and marked “not interested” on all AI influencers and YouTube channels. IMO: The AI hype industry is invested in perpetuating a false sense of urgency of insane AI advancements, especially during quiet times. Happy to just wait and see.

For all the people on X challenging others to “change their minds”… Just no. Not here for the fake engagement trolls. My time is important too. Consider this— when was the last time you invested your precious time and energy into this type of post?

If you’re considering using those sped-up, autogenerated handwritten bullet points on a whiteboard for your next explainer videos —please don’t ... They’re overdone, distracting, age poorly and truly aren’t necessary. I’d rather watch videos that use static bullet slides. 🤷‍♂️

i’ve been running deepseek locally (i have a highest end mac studio) for few days, & it’s absolutely on par with o1 or sonnet. i’ve been using it nonstop for coding and other tasks, & what would’ve cost me a fortune through api’s is now completely free. this feels like a total

Jobs: The dominant narrative starts from a mindset of scarcity—pitting our survival against our ability to prove worth, as if our right to exist must be earned. But every person has innate value. So why ask how we fit into an AI world, when we should ask how AI fits into ours? 🤔
