It's a gorgeous afternoon. I brought the puppy to the backyard to play. Instead he stands still and eats grass like a cow.

Highlight of my day... A freshmen student ran into me at the high school. I mention I need to see her for therapy later on, and she jumps up and fist pumps "yes!" It's the little things I enjoy in my day. ❤️

First day back. Lots of hugs from my spec ed kiddos. And one upset boy stimming by smacking his head repeatedly into my butt. Just a normal day. 🤣

Jet lag sucks

I was ganged up on by a group of preschoolers. I was informed I sleep in a small bed and sleep with cows, bees, and dinos. #teacherlife #slp

The only good thing about having strep? Unlimited, no judgement amounts of chocolate pudding. #IHaveSpoken

I'm so beyond frustrated at the moment. Blasting heavy metal until I have to deal with people at work again. I really don't think some parents realize the work we actually do.

So my dog Frodo is the best. He has been with me by my side 100% today. And, now he's protecting the house from bugs. Very serious duty.

Sitting here drinking my Dunkin' coffee. Very content knowing my career is moving in a new direction.
