Today we visited MyChocolate to learn all about chocolate! We got to taste chocolate and learn all about the history and science behind chocolate. Of course we got to take some home too. 🍫

And a couple more. Decorating and marbling a chocolate slab and looking at a real cacao pod.

The big day has arrived! We’re making our very own chocolate that we have researched, designed and planned. First, we are writing our Fairtrade statements to show that our chocolate is Fairtrade.

Learning about the melting process and making links to our previous learning on states of matter. When melting our chocolate we will make scientific observations 👀

Finally! We had the chance to make our very own chocolate bars using our designs! It was super fun and very tasty too! Look at all the different designs!
