We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of J. Tinsley Oden, founder and first director of the Oden Institute. He was a pioneer in computational mechanics and a visionary academic leader. He worked tirelessly to make UT Austin the destination for all things computing.

I'm proud to share that we are launching a revolutionary master's program in Semiconductor Engineering and Science, in partnership with NaturalSciences @ UT. We will equip students with the skills & knowledge needed to lead in the next chapter of the important field of microelectronics.

We're celebrating #TakeYourDogToWorkDay a little differently on the Forty Acres 🤘🦮 Adventure awaits with Dean Roger Bonnecaze and our four-legged robot dog, who's just excited to be here! Anyone else brought or planning to bring their dog to work today?

Just putting it out there, I think I might have the best dog at UT Austin. He never needs a doggie bag!
