It was Walter’s birthday celebration today. He brought cool art supplies. The kids were so excited to tell him Thank you that all of a sudden he had a pile of cards created by his friends to celebrate his birthday! I love their kind spirits and willingness to share.

Every year I try to make an origami paper crane when we get to this story. This year we had the privilege to have an expert in our classroom. She made 25+ friends to share for our last day of school!
