Wrapping up an invigorating 2-day faculty institute on Dialogue Across Difference and Civil Discourse in the Classroom hosted by Institute for Citizens & Scholars at Duke University! Met some phenomenal colleagues doing transformative work about participatory democracy!

Two twin sisters at the airport remind of the golden girls - Iykyk- and are carefree, giggling at comics, and flirting with a self-proclaimed cowboy headed to Nashville (how anti-climactic!). Let's all say it together, "friendship goals".

TT/Tenured professors do not lose anything by adding undergraduate and grad students to papers that they helped with (organizing, lit search, data collection). I do not understand this reluctance to give authorship.
