Wrong again sir. Money managers eat off fees, not returns. So nah, I’m still right. I don’t think I’m that special. Just vested in returns not fees. Years ago after trading on my own I transferred my 401k from the “pros” to a self directed one my returns shot up.

I don’t even remember what being bored feels like. So nah, I am incapable of allowing myself to be bored. But I am capable of allowing myself to not be productive. Usually via an occasional all day Netflix show binge or sitting on my deck for hours. Neither are boring tho.

Ok, after listening to Simon Sinek here, he’s 100% right. This is why I taking walks always helps me solve creative challenges. It’s an amazing hack. But I don’t consider this boredom. Just clearing the brains table to allow room for new stuff to fill it.

I think walks are the best thing for this because it combines a low intensity physical activity that gets the blood flowing (better brain performance) that also doesn’t take as much of a cognitive power to do like driving or even showering. Optimal brain function and capacity.
