I’ve now caught up with the latest #BluePlanetLive programmes, and they dismay me. Yes the BBC is talking about environmental issues. But there are two flaws so massive that they make these programmes worse than useless. Thread/

In the UK, we have no such problem. The National Trust and other curators of stately homes leave us, in most cases, entirely ignorant of the enclosure, expulsion, murder and slavery on which they were built. But look at that beautiful portico!

4) Because someone had an unremarkable scan 2 months post Covid, there's no need for another scan down the line 5) Because someone can talk coherently on the phone, they must actually be fine. 6) Because someone looks fine, they must actually be fine.

🚨 Keir Starmer I have an urgent agenda item for your discussion with Donald Trump tomorrow: stop genocide in #Sudan. 1 million refugees, mostly women & children are running out of food. And many could die unless global leaders do something about it. #Darfur via Avaaz

Lorna_TVeditor I have just watched it… I am looking up Aisha, wondering if she did become a pianist - not a hairdresser as her Grandmother was: “It’s too much hard work” :) She’s right, my mother was, and I didn’t become one 😂
