Excited to share our recent study Structural basis of lipid head group entry to the Kennedy pathway by FLVCR1 published this week nature led by amazing Yeeun Son in collaboration with Tim Kenny Artem Khan Kivanc Birsoy Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center nature.com/articles/s4158…
I was a Simons Society of Fellows Junior Fellow for 4 years of my postdoc thanks to Jim's generosity and passion for science. I am so grateful and will always cherish the friendships and late night science discussions this fellowship kindled. RIP Jim, you changed so many lives, mine included.
Inaugural Cater Lab birthday cake! Happy 30th birthday to Dr Farrah Blades! #1 postdoc!

Thrilled to see our Lifeact-EGFP quail published JCellBiol after a fantastic and speedy editorial process. This was a great team effort from the whole lab Institute for Molecular Bioscience but especially Yanina with support from Marise & Jianxiong Wang 王建雄. #Biology
Our new Cell Metabolism study proposes a mechanistic connection between molecular remodelling in development & aging. We uncovered a common transcription factor pattern linked to chromatin remodelling in organismal maturation & aging. Link tinyurl.com/d39ru3s8 Thread 🧵👇1/10
Thank you Prof Renae Ryan and Susie L Ingram for such a fantastic meeting! What a top notch week!
What a fantastic week at the #MembraneTransportProteins Gordon Research Conferences! So much excellent science being shared and so great to reconnect with my transporter family! Thanks to everyone who made it special, especially Prof Renae Ryan and Susie L Ingram for putting it all together.
Thanks for having me Avner Schlessinger !
Here we go! Our structure of the human dopamine transporter in complex with cocaine has been published in Nature (nature.com/articles/s4158…). Commentary by Harald Sitte (nature.com/articles/d4158…). Thanks to Azadeh Shahsavar and Pape for contributing. Department of Neuroscience, UCPH, UCPH Healthscience
Excited to announce…..it’s finally arrived (!!) nature.com/articles/s4155… A big thank-you to my team (particularly Robert Ju), co authors & #FutureFellowship funding from Australian Research Council Importantly- a big shoutout to Daryl JV David Nature Cell Biology for their support. 👇tweetorial 👇
It was my absolute pleasure to host Prof Renae Ryan for the Centre for Chemistry and Drug Discovery seminar Institute for Molecular Bioscience this week! She shared such beautiful research and it was so fun to have my PhD advisor get to know my new academic home!
Talk about a beautiful spot for a conference 😍 Big thank you to Vanessa Morris and Michael Edmonds for putting together and inviting me to the spectacular Biomolecular Interactions satellite meeting for Queenstown Research Week!
