I had an amazing experience at #isa2023 ! So grateful for the opportunity to share mine and Uri Kidron’s research regarding the virtual narratives and functionality of sexual violence in conflict settings. We examine the ways CRSV portrayed online in the war in Ukraine.

Happy to share that Roni Berkowitz and I presented yesterday our research at the IAIS convention in Bar-Ilan University. Our research deals with how CRSV is portrayed, understood, & utilized online in the war in Ukraine.

The current war is an acid test to China’s international commitment. But for now, China’s more assertive rhetoric is yet to translate into a more proactive role. Read this china dialogues blog by Doron Ella and Roni Berkowitz: wp.me/pciMWg-rH

Collaborating with the brilliant Doron Ella, you can now read our piece on China Dialogues. Indeed, China-Israel relations per se have little (if any) to do with China's role in the Israel-Gaza War. Yet, systemic interests have a habit of eventually affecting real people's lives.

Thrilled to share that @roniberkowitz and I have been awarded the Pratt Prize in International Relations at Hebrew University for our research on how conflict-related sexual violence is portrayed and used online by state actors, focusing on the war in Ukraine.

🎉I'm incredibly honored to receive the Carmon Award for outstanding research in IR, security, and the Middle East for my work on the Chinese threat narrative in the Israeli context. Many thanks to the committee for this recognition! 🙏 Hebrew University The Leonard Davis Ins. for International Relations
