As we are approaching the 10th anniversary of Litecoin, I figured it's a good time to do a long Twitter 🧵 on the history of Litecoin from my perspective. My memory of events can be hazy at times, so for those mentioned, feel free to add or correct anything I say. Here goes...

I'd been trying to get David Burkett Ⓜ️🕸 on the show for a long time so I was excited about this. MWEB is what made me stop dismissing Litecoin. A similar simple extension block strategy could be useful to so many different crypto projects.

Status of Tx.Town (a TxStreet mirror): Ethereum node still down. First geth data healing attempt failed: an "Error in block freeze operation" meant the chain had to be rewound to 22 days ago and resync from there. ETA: ~1h30m from now.
